Smoky Pot Roast

The ultimate comfort food where the smoky depth has hours to meld.

  • Ingredients:

    • 3 lbs beef chuck roast

    • 3 tbsp Blaze Well

    • 1 large onion, roughly chopped

    • 2 cups beef broth

    • 1 cup red wine (or extra broth)

    • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Instructions:

    1. Sear: Heat oil in a heavy Dutch oven. Sear the roast on all sides until deeply browned.

    2. Season: Remove the meat and stir in the Blaze Well for 60 seconds.

    3. Braise: Pour in the wine and broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release the flavor. Return the meat to the pot.

    4. Cook: Cover and simmer on low (or in a 300°F oven) for 3–4 hours until the beef falls apart with a fork. The mushroom and garlic notes will create a rich, velvety gravy.
