Glossy Garlic Butter Bacon Linguine

Glossy Garlic Butter Bacon Linguine

This Glossy Garlic Butter Bacon Linguine is rich, creamy, and ready in just 15 minutes. Made with crispy bacon, fragrant garlic, and a spicy kick from Scarlet Rush chili powder.

Ingredients

  • 250g linguine
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp Scarlet Rush chili powder
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Cracked black pepper
  • Salt (for pasta water)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water. Before draining, reserve 1 cup of the starchy pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and leave the fat in the pan.
  3. Add butter, sliced garlic, and Scarlet Rush chili powder to the hot bacon fat. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the garlic is soft and fragrant.
  4. Pour in ½ cup of the reserved pasta water and bring to a boil. The starch will help create a smooth, glossy sauce.
  5. Add the cooked linguine and crispy bacon back into the pan. Turn off the heat, add the Parmesan cheese, and toss vigorously for 1 minute until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta.
  6. Serve in a shallow bowl, garnished with fresh parsley and cracked black pepper.
