This Glossy Garlic Butter Bacon Linguine is rich, creamy, and ready in just 15 minutes. Made with crispy bacon, fragrant garlic, and a spicy kick from Scarlet Rush chili powder.
Ingredients
- 250g linguine
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Scarlet Rush chili powder
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Cracked black pepper
- Salt (for pasta water)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water. Before draining, reserve 1 cup of the starchy pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and leave the fat in the pan.
- Add butter, sliced garlic, and Scarlet Rush chili powder to the hot bacon fat. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the garlic is soft and fragrant.
- Pour in ½ cup of the reserved pasta water and bring to a boil. The starch will help create a smooth, glossy sauce.
- Add the cooked linguine and crispy bacon back into the pan. Turn off the heat, add the Parmesan cheese, and toss vigorously for 1 minute until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta.
- Serve in a shallow bowl, garnished with fresh parsley and cracked black pepper.
